Build a diverse workforce and eliminate inequality

To better reflect the diversity of our communities, we’ve launched initiatives to improve workforce representation. However, we currently lack complete data on important diversity aspects. To overcome this, we plan to launch the ‘NGN Census’ in 2025. This campaign will aim to increase participation in our data collection, allowing us to build a strong and effective inclusion strategy.

Our bespoke Inclusion and Belonging training programme ran across 2023/24. Through partnering with BITC we delivered training to 855 of our colleagues

Embedding inclusion across NGN

In 2021, NGN introduced Colleague Communities, providing a platform for colleagues to discuss key topics, share challenges, and celebrate aspects that they care about. These communities lead the way in fostering inclusion, belonging, and acceptance throughout our organisation. Open to all, they currently include five active communities.
