Benefits for colleagues

At NGN, we prioritise quality employment with safe working conditions, competitive pay, flexible working, upskilling opportunities, and financial support like free mortgage advice. Benefits include private healthcare, car lease schemes, and tech vouchers, all designed to support colleagues’ well-being, financial security, and overall stability.

Mental health at work commitment

In 2024, a further 205 colleagues completed mental health training, with our trained Wellbeing Champions now numbering 45. Our Champions assist colleagues by signposting available support, providing a confidential listening ear, and promoting health and wellbeing campaigns.

Working safely every day

Our colleagues deliver essential, round-the-clock service, often in challenging conditions. We prioritise safety with a bespoke ISO 45001-aligned management system and have an excellent track record of consistent safe working.

In 2024, we conducted 373 proactive safety audits, 11% more than 2023. All safety incidents are investigated to identify the root cause, including review at our regular Safety Learning Clinics which allow learning points to be identified, addressed and communicated with colleagues.
